words

Although Alphawave isn't famous for poetry I do like the sound and flow of words. Rap music has long used the rythmn of word delivery as the essential part of the music. Poetry also has rythmns locked within the sounds of the words.

Some words have fantastic rythmic value and in an Ambient way I like to use the flow of words but also to try and gain 'ambient advantage' with the meaning of the phrases.

Some lines in 'Maybe...' can be taken to mean something - and others are more vague and difficult to pin down. Some words have a sense about them that when used with other words in a sentence can change their meaning completely!

Below is one my recent word plays - 'Maybe'

Maybe...

Empathy exists in pools of unsustainable
ardour. Our mission to grow encompasses
the energy of the sun in our hearts. The
possibility of fate and earnest encounter
define the rewards of the day.

Perhaps the wildness of experience makes
the finest pass to passion in material kind.
Stress in the instant demands the fire of
fear to chase our tingling spines.

Function will empower necessity in the
emerging hedonism of now. Thus the
memorial of recent past limits the visionary
freedom of tomorrows imagination.

Maybe - exactness replaces feeling in
the temporary structure of sanity.

maybe...
