ALPHAWAVE GOES BOOM!

A meeting of minds which gives birth to
anthemic and catchy house tunes…

BOOM

The man with the exploding hairstyle is back! After fronting Norman Cook's PIZZAMAN project and touring the world, Boom is producing, writing and singing again.

Modelling and TV work isn't enough for Boom, -"Sounds Just send me", he says, 'I hear good music or a groove and I'm gone - I always knew I'd have to make my own soundz"

In between TV work and mixing tracks with various artists, he has decided to combine his "Funky Diva Frontman Ability" and Afrodizziac Vocal Agility with longtime friend and fellow raver JOSKI from ALPHAWAVE.

Says BOOM - "We used to keep bumping into each other coming from or going to a rave or interesting musical happening - It seemed natural that we would join forces sooner or later"

After an early partnership along with Steve Dub (Chemical Brothers) and a release on the Pope label Boom and Joski got diverted into other projects - always meaning to work together again.

In August 1998 the opportunity arose again after experiencing abduction by aliens during a Jam (and marmalade!) session on Hampstead Heath the new single - "Watching the Cloudz" was born!

ALPHAWAVE

- for Alphawave read JOSKI, for it is his fine musical madness that goes by that name. During writing soundtracks and making Videos he studied cloud recognition! - now he knows what those big fluffy things in the sky are!

Now following his well received 1997 album 'Solar Substances' on Binary Records Joski, when he is not seeding conspiracies on the web or designing and making his exclusive platform shoes, he is in his studio sculpting Glambient soundscapes.
